Murray Talks Ghostbuster #3!

3423432_1.png

According to a recent appearence & interview on the “Late Show with David Letterman”, Bill Murray is apparently now entertaining the idea of a actual Ghostbuster’s sequel. Murray was asked by Letterman to comment about some of his experiences on many of the various films he’s made throughout his career. As the subject of Ghostbuster eventually came up, Letterman worked his way around to asking the legendary comedian point blank, if a . .

As for what I'm looking forward to...

I have to admit, I'm slightly wanting to see Brave.

I'd also like to see Ice Age 4 (if I don't see Brave), but I'm wanting to see a couple of independent films: The Legend of Hell's Gate (An American Conspiracy) and Yellow Rock. The former takes place in an area I used to live in, and the latter just looks good, and has gotten good reviews and a lot of awards in the independent film world.

There are a lot of upcoming movies I'm excited to see. I didn't see Batman Begins or The Dark Knight until last year, but I loved them and I'm very eager to see The Dark Knight Rises. All of Christopher Nolan's films are so interesting.

As for kid's movies, I'm sure I'll being Brave when it comes out. It seems a little less promising than Pixar's other movies, but I'm sure it will be good anyway. Then there's Monsters 2. I don't know how I feel about that. Sequels to animated films are usually a disappointment (Cars 2 was exhibit A... Pixar's biggest flop, in my opinion). But I am very excited for Finding Nemo in 3D. Even though the re-release is a big money-making scheme, I am so excited to see it in theaters again. It's one of my all-time favorite movies.

I am also so excited for The Amazing Spiderman. Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone play the lead roles. Need I say more? :p I got to meet Andrew Garfield a couple weeks ago when I saw Death of a Salesman, so naturally I am ECSTATIC to see him on the big screen. And Emma Stone has become one of my favorite actresses. I think they are going to have great chemistry.

And lastly, THE GREAT GATSBY!! One of my favorite novels... with Leo... coming out at Christmastime. I don't think it could get any better.

I too want to see Brave. I also want to see The Hobbit parts 1 and 2, The Host, Catching Fire(whenever the movie gets released), The Host, Les Miserables musical movie, Breaking Dawn Part 2, the new Spiderman and Batman movies etc... I didn't know The Great Gatsby was being released as a movie. I will have to see previews for it, and see if it looks good or not. I didn't care much for the book, but it was still a good read.

Wow! You met him! Very Cool. You know, I'm really loving the clips and trailers for that movie. Looks great. Has an old school feel to it, instead of so much CGI flashy.

Then there's Monsters 2.

Monsters 2? As in Monster's Inc. 2? Never seen the first one, but I hadn't heard about the sequel. Cars 2 was a really bad film, and I think it could have been a great movie had some things been avoided (won't mention it here as it's political). As for Finding Nemo, I saw it originally in theaters, so I won't be spending the $10 to see it in 3D.

You did know that Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone were real life boyfriend/girlfriend? I thought it was funny how they were cast in a movie together.

Oh! I forgot about the Disney animated film "Wreck-It Ralph". Apparently it's a movie about video game characters. The trailer is cute, and it looks like a good movie. But it's not Pixar, so who knows?

I'm picky and usually only go to a couple films a year, tops. This year I'm looking forward to The Hobbit and The Host. :)

Awesome! I'm glad that someone else is looking forward to The Host. Such a brilliant book, and so much better than the Twilight Saga. I can't wait for The Hobbit either... It looks so good!

Yup, there's a Monsters Inc. 2 coming out.. Something about a university.

Ordered Cars 2, I'll post my review once I see it.. So hard to believe it was a bad movie D:

"Brave" is looking solid though! I was mad that Pixar didn't make a movie as original as the others, but the reviews are looking solid! http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/brave_2012/

Will any of you see Brave?

You're probably going to want your money back. It was a waste of even $6, which was the price of my ticket last summer. There was a political agenda behind the film that had no place being there, and there seemed to be more crude humor and jokes that also had no place in the film.

Christopher Nolan Talks the End of Batman!

Christopher Nolan is certainly “THE MAN” in Hollywood right now. And with good reason. His final instalment of his epic Batman Trilogy may make “The Avengers” look like small potatoes when it’s all said & done. He seems to deliver hit after hit, and it doesn’t appear to stop anytime soon. So it’s of no surprise that he was able to tell Warner Bros. to . .

I'm looking forward to:

Brave
Ender's Game
Paranorman
The Magician's Nephew (possibly?)

My favorite movies:

Hugo
Phoebe in Wonderland
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
Super 8
101 Dalmatians

"Eventually, Warner Bros. will reboot the character, no doubt. As Batman is an ongoing character. But, who knows exactly how long that’ll be?"

2015 according to IMDB. The thing that makes me sick though, it that Christopher Nolan already has plans on helping out with a Batman reboot: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1877830/fullcredits#writers

Come on Christopher, END THE SERIES. There is NO need for a reboot. Are you not proud of your own series? CONFUSED

Loved Hugo. What a magically movie. Super 8 was great. They did such a good job at making it feel like an late 70's Spielberg film. I would love to see more team ups of Abrams and Spielberg. And of course Narnia is why we're here. :D

I cant say a whole lot because I've never seen any of the modern Batman films....but if movies like this continue drawing money, they'll continue making them. I mean, there is going to be an Iron Man 3, which I think is excessive. However, since the success of Avengers was so big, Iron Man 3 will make money, and might possibly spawn yet another sequel. You do have to think about it in regards to other films, not just the Batman movies. Pirates 2-4 were incredibly ridiculous, getting worse with each film. But they all made lots of money, which is what Disney was after.

The modern Batman movies are PERFECT in my opinion and need NO reboot.

It makes me sick

It's only for money.
