The Underland Chronicles

I'm sure no one has read this fantasy fiction book, seeing as how it came out in the midst of HP, Artemis Fowl, ASoUE, etc. but this is just a wonderful book for younger kids and even some adults. It's about a boy, Gregor, who falls through a grate in his laundry room to a world underneath NYC. It's filled with bats, rats, humans, lizards, cockroaches (Don't worry, it's not gross) and mice. It is by Suzanne Collins, a relatively unknown author/TV show writer.

I finished the last (5th) book yesterday, and I can't seem to get my mind off of it, at all. It's so immersing and interesting that it ranks right up top with the other huge titles, HP, Artemis Fowl, and ASoUE, as listed above. I HIGHLY recommend at least checking this out at your library.

It saddens my personally that I wasn't there when they were being released because I was too obsessed with the other books >_>.

Just read it, you'll love it. 'Nuff said, period, etc etc.
