The Wolves of Narnia

So when I'm not being a studious college student at Baylor University in Texas or working on my non-profit I like to do a couple things. These include, country dancing, hunting, riding horses, fishing, and spending time with my friends. However one of the many other things I like to do is write and read, this summer in particular I reread the Chronicles of Narnia between Texas and Oregon, which resparked my interest in the series.

After looking around these boards I noticed some people write stories that are linked or related to the Narnia, which inspired me to do the same for fun. As you can denote from the title of this thread, my story will be about the wolves in Narnia. I want to go from the creation to the Last Battle with this story, which will take some time to be done right and make sense. So please bear with me as I take time to develop this story.

I chose the wolves because they have the very interesting role of being on both sides of conflict in Narnia from time to time. It is stated in the series that the majority of wolves sided with the White Witch, however some of the statues released by Aslan's breath are wolves as well. I plan to explain this and other similar instances along with doing an entire back story on the wolves of Narnia. Not to mention I have a dog, and I'm just generally obsessed with wolves and dogs.

It will probably be atleast a week until I post the first post in this story, as I am facing down a midterm exam this week. I'm open to questions, criticism, and suggestions, although I ask the reader to keep in mind that I'm taking quite a bit of creative license with this one. I promise I won't butcher the work of CS Lewis though, or alternate the main story line, I will be using CS Lewis' chronology of events to base my story off of.

Looking forward to it DesertWolf!

Just a quick bit of information, if you want to get an idea of how to develop a story about the animals of Narnia (or Narnia characters in general) I would suggest that you check out "The Lion's Share" and "Southward the Tigers" by Timbalionguy and CopperFox. I have attempted to try my hand at writing on this forum, and I have used both of their stories as a sort of model for my story. I look forward to your first chapter!
