The Worst Movie You Ever Watched?

There've been lots of threads for your favorite movies. So...here's one for your least favorite movies!

Basically, any movies you dislike, despise, or thought were lame.

Personally, the Hitchcock movie "Suspicion" always annoyed me. I also destest this random old Western called "Arizona" or something like that. The love interest's kid brother (about 8 years old) was randomly shot and killed, followed by a cut to a scene of the sister (who had witnessed the murder) giggling and singing a love duet like she was brainwashed or something.

This'll date me, but Time Bandits and Quest for Fire stand as the two rock-bottom worst movies my wife and I have ever seen together. My brother quipped that Time Bandits was aptly named because they steal two hours of your time and give you nothing in return.

Also, back in my service days, a shipmate and I used to hit movies together, taking turns selecting the feature. I remember he had abysmal taste in movies, which is how I ended up seeing Kingdom of the Spiders, a hack job that gave B-movies a bad name. They must've blown their entire budget getting William Shatner to play the lead (which also shows how low he was stooping in the immediate post-Trek years), because writing, acting, and cinematography were totally lacking.

I can't complain too much about those cinematic forays, though - that's when I first saw Star Wars.

Twilight wasn't a bad story. Horribly written, yes, but there's a still some enjoyment to be obtained. The movies however were HORRIBLE.

The only redeeming factor was the well built gentlemen they cast for the werewolves.

The worst movie I ever saw was one about Thomas Kinkade. Such a disappointment, but I don't remember the title. The christmas Cottage or something.
 
Couldn't generally say which was the worst movie _ever_ for me, but I can say from this year's movies Book of Eli for me left the most unimpressive, underwhelming aftertaste.
 
What about the worst movie I NEVER watched? Does that count? Because "Scary Movie III" was the worst movie I never watched. I walked out of the theater just about five minutes into the movie... It was horrible! horrible I tell you!!. I couldn't see myself sitting there for two hours of tasteless crap.

Exactly. (I was embarrased that my mom let me stay up late to watch the end of HSM 2, and still am. Twilight, there is nothing more to say)

Another movie I remember waching that was really stupid is the movie Explorers. ugh, the only interesting thing about that movie was the space-ship they made.

PoTW I am still laughing that you saw "Kingdom of the Spiders" in the cinema! My sis and I watched that on TV on vacation one time, and we were just dying laughing. What a klunker!

BK, my husband I had the same reaction to Scary Movie 1 -- watched the first 3-4 minutes and then gave up, it as so ignorant. (But we had the same reaction to "Something About Mary," and everyone says that was great and hilarious, so maybe it's me. I just get fed up with the tasteless stuff.)

You know, in the same era as "Time Bandits" there was a movie called "Brazil" that was really bad and oppressive and at the end you wished you never spent 2 hours of your life watching it.
 
Something I saw years ago with my mates called 'Lifeforce'. Bad. So bad in fact it started to be good but not in the way the makers had intended.

I think they blew their whole budget in the first fifteen minutes, as the opening sequence was extremely atmospheric and spine chilling. After that it quickly descended into a sort of farce.

LOL! I stopped after watching the first 2 minutes of part I and it was so horrible I never even bothered to watch II and III :D
 
Dragon Wars was one of the worst ones I've seen (it was way to fast paced and a flashback within a flashback??). The only thing I liked about it was the oriental dragon at the end.

Twilight was horrible, but I laughed through almost the entire thing because it was so corny. I laugh at the trailers too, because I haven't seen the other two movies, and don't plan to.

I suppose Eragon is pretty terrible too, but it's fun to watch because of the dragon (can you tell I like dragons?).


Anywho, I don't like those movies that leave a bad taste in your mouth :(

Bridge To Teribithia.... I aint supposed to cry right at the end :( its why i dont dare watch Marley And Me or Titanic...

By the way Twilight is a win you lot are just epically failed :D So you just got murked :p
