This is Confusing...

No, they're definitely filming at least part of PC in NZ... although they've said other places like Slovenia too. I'm sure glad they're going back to New Zealand :D
 
Blessings to you on that. It would be totally fun to be an extra.

For Andrew, he's got a lot more to do than just the filming...he's in the whole process. So, for him I bet it is sort of a circus in trying to get all of the creatures to look and act the way you want...or be done the way you want on a computer...and that all has to be ready before the filming starts.

Reports say that they'll be filming in lots of places including NZ and Prague...among others.

If you do get to be an extra let us know.

True. LWW was shot in several locations: Czech Republic, NZ, etc... so it's only safe to assume that PC will do the same; moving to different locations when the story moves along in it's Narnia scenery as well.

It would be so cool if they would really film it in Slovenia...In the Soca river valley. Then i could be an extra! Hahaha :)

So is anyone from this forum going to the places where they will film it... If you come to Slovenia, we could make a big Narnia party :D
 
its so annoying that we dont know where abouts in New Zealand... I know and respect that its cos they dont want millions of fans turning up.. im going on loads and loads of scenic road trips this month.. so hopefully I will spot a weird sign.. and just take a photo of that :p lol! Im keeping my eyes peeled for casting calls for extras in my local paper... fingers crossed theres something!!

The filming process

Keep in mind that the process of making a film as complex as Prince Caspian (which covers a whole lot of ground with armies, etc. in the story) is a complex and involved process. So, even though they might not yet be filming scenes with actors, they will be filming scenes for effects shots, which often then take months to finish. There is always location scouting, pre-visulation support material, etc. Long gone are the days when you showed up with cameras, actors, props and extras, and effects were created in-the-camera!
