Ultimate Narnia Fan's blog finally posted

Disney has finally posted my written account of my trip on narnia.com (I'm still waiting on the video blog - think that will be closer to the release of the movie), so I can finally talk about my trip and answer questions.

KingFrank and I had a wonderful time in Prague and on the set of Prince Caspian. The call sheet for the day said "Visit from Ultimate Narnia Fan....and husband". KingFrank got to follow me around and carry my stuff - I really did feel like royalty!

WOOHOO! It's about time!!!!!!!!!!! Yea Emily! Welcome back to Narnia land! Sorry about the zillion convention emails in the process. Can't wait to hear about Austria. Can't wait to read your blog about Czech...you've really had quite the travel year my friend!

Yep, I'm glad to be back. It's nice to finally feel like I can talk about the trip.

You're right - it's really been quite a travel year for us. Austria was great - I'll tell you more about it later. Just a heads up - I probably won't be responding to questions/comments much until next week - I'm in the midst of making wedding cakes and groom's cakes and other food for a wedding reception this weekend, so I've got to go for now.

That's awesome! If there's any way you can get the votes in by Friday that would help a ton to get stuff rolling on the nonprofit end...we just need an officer vote and a name vote. The other stuff can really wait but I wanted to make sure you have a say.

Have fun with the wedding stuff. You're all that Emily!

I've sent in my vote. It looks like it's really starting to come together.

QueenHelen fully deserves the wonderful experience she got! I figured that my entry about an Aslan-fan-turned-lionkeeper would be a shoe-in for that month of the contest. But when I saw QueenHelen's entry, it made me feel like a Narnia neophyte! So, kudos, QueenHelen, and its been a pleasure working with you on the convention stuff as well.

Thanks and likewise! My computer (actually phone line) has been down last 3 days, so I've just now had a chance to check in. I've been at DragonCon this weekend in Atlanta, but it's been somewhat of a disappointment. No Narnia trak (though I knew that), and Sean Astin was supposed to be there on Tolkien Trak, but canceled.

Congrats once again QueenHelen! I know it's been awhile since you've checked in, but I was curious: did you have the opportunity to ask the cast any of the questions TDL members posted before your trip to the set?

Hi Sonador - Life has been really busy lately - sorry I haven't been checking in. I did get to talk a little bit to the cast members, but the format of my visit was a little different from my original expectation. I had a wonderful time, but didn't really have a chance to ask many questions. My list of questions was a compilation from NarniaWeb and NarniaFans, so I don't know what came from where anymore. William did say he has plans for movies post-Narnia, but didn't give us any specifics.
