Vampirates: Demons of the Ocean/Tide of Terror

my school library now has these books. they're new at my school library, and the librarian knows i kinda like reading and i was looking for a bok to read for the next class and she showed me the vampirate book. it looks cool, but freaky... i picked up the book today again, and i read the back, and i can tell off the back that the author of that book is really creative... except for i didn't really get what it said..some thing like
if vampires are bad
and pirates are worst... oh well i don't remember...i had a quick look at what i think was the introduction, and it was written marvellously

oh and i told the librarian about the edge chronicles last week and she seemed quite interested so today i went and showed her vox, and she wrote the edge chronicles in her "to get" list*because of me!* ;P and she says shes gonna get them this weekend once i start typing i don't stop,lol... eek!

I have read the first book.

To tell the truth, seemed corny near the end....But, that was because the plot was easily noticeable.

Any vampires travelling the sea by their own power would be contrary to what has been traditionally believed about vampires in many quarters. It was held that, perhaps because water symbolized the normal and natural, no vampire could by its own power pass over a river or other natural body of water. That's why, in Bram Stoker's "Dracula," Dracula had to have himself shipped overseas like freight, though Stoker decided that once underway he would have the power to emerge and feed on the sailors. Fortunately, vampires in any supernatural sense _don't_ really exist.

hey, did you ever hear of twilight its a REALLY popular book, with cvampires. what about cirque du freak? another vampire book. i haven't read any of these but i want to know what twilight is about so i might read that.

Heard of Cirque de Freak, not really interested. My friend loves the Darren Shan books though.

And I think you other guys should just chill and say something like 'It was a good book' or otherwise rather than rambling on (sorry!) about something or other.

I'm sorry Copperfox, but I can hardly ever decipher what you're saying on any thread I go to... XD But maybe that's because I'm not as clever as you.
