video game movies

some guys here at my "place of employment" were talking yesterday about video games that they would like to see made into movies. so they were racking their brains with who should play the lead roles in:

Zelda (Link)
Metal Gear Solid (Snake)
Splinter Cell (Sam Fisher)

I think if they made a Legend of Zelda movie it would ruin the illusion of never hearing Link talk. Which would ruin the illusion :D
Splinter Cell would be cool though.
I've never played Metal Gear Solid.

But I know they are making a Halo movie. ANd Tomb Raider was based off the video game Tomb Raider.
 
yeah..i know tomb raider was a video game. and i heard they were making a halo movie too, but i'm not sure how good it will be. splinter cell would be an awesome movie..the game is practically in a rough script form already :D

and who said that link has to talk? haha

I'd wish they'd come out with the Halo movie sooner.I had heard that they were not gonna make it.I hope they do,because that would be so stinkin awesome.Me and my brothers love halo.
 
Yep, I got some information that actually no one was going to finance HALO so Microsoft's going to finance it completely on it's own. :)
