Want to know about Australia?

Are other languages besides English spoken there, please?
Sorry,I know this is a dumb question,but I know nothing about Australia.

Okay... there are a lot of Aboriganal clans, and they all have their own language, but apart from that it's all English! (with Aussie slang!)

Tim: Well The Great Australian Bite is pretty Amazing! It's called that because it looks like a giant took a bite out of the land. :D We have the 'Valley of the Giants' which is a valley full of hundreds of ancient trees that are REALLY big. We have 'Wave Rock' and Rottnest Island, home of the quokas. :D (if you know what they are!)

Hasn't Australia only been inhabited by Englishmen since around the time US was doing the whole Constitution thing? I don't know, I'm not to good at history.. :p
