was the camp that big

I don't know,it was like two years ago I read that book,but as far as I remember,the camp was not that big,like it was in the movie.Did they have tents in the book at all? :confused:

It is mentioned in the book,

"The next thing they saw was a pavilion pitched on one side of the open place."

However, it should be noted that in the book the children meet Aslan by the stone table, whereas the battle takes place at Beruna fords. In the film the army is already mustered at the Fords of Beruna.
 
Aslan's camp sort of makes me giggle. Just because the witch apparently had no clue Aslan was assembling an army until Edmund told her, but then when you see it in the movie, it's this huge big THING filled with brightly-colored tents, animals/centaurs/satyrs/fauns walking around all over the place and tall bright flags. It just kind of makes me say to myself, "how could you not notice that??"
