What do you all think?

We all know it's impossible for any film version of a book to live up to 100% of our expectations. However I was browsing around over at TheOneRIng.net, and saw that they are having a live chat with both Peter Jackson and G. Del Torro concerning the Hobbit. This will let fans have some say in what will happen and voice concerns befoere they rise up.

Also PJ cut the scenes of Arwen fighting at Helms Deep after there was enough backlash from fans as he was trying to make it close to the books. ( Yes I know he changed alot but keep in mind if he were to have done them 100% accurat each book would have to have been divided into six three hour long films and it still probably wouldn't have come close.)

Do you all think that for upcoming installements the directors of the Narnia films should do the same?

I know we don't have the numbers or the sheer fanaticism of Tolkein fans, but it would be nice if they would have a way for us to communicate with the directors for our movies. There are some things that would completely turn off every dedicated Narnia fan in an instant if they were changed from VoDT, such as Aslan's line at the end. If they even add something like "In your world, I am known by other names" that would completely wreck the movie and the message of the books.

I think as General Orius once said, " Numbers do not win battles..."

Also some of them actually do post on aintitcoolnews. I dont' think any of us would.

And exactly. It can insure that we all are at least somewhat pleased.

I think it would be a grand ideah if they would have a web page that dedicated just to the comunication between Lewis fans and the directors of the movies.
