Hey ppl im new here....so heres my first post ^^

The title may be a bit vague so just to clarify:

What have you found in yourself or about other ppl after watching the LWW movie or reading the book? Broad topic, i know, but heres a perfect place to express your feelings about this movie and what jesus has inspired in you.

Honestly, i have never actually finisehd the book. I might have picked it up in the library when i was like 7, but the beginning was so boring i put it down. Now the movie has come out. A- in for critic reviews! Not everyday you see them handing out good ratings. So i decided to see this movie.

After 2 hours in the theater, i walked out and felt happy that i saw a great movie, but nothing profound. After seeign it another two times and reading articles about Lewis and other info on the LWW, i found myself submerged in this fantasy world.

The LWW was a remarkable comparison to what jesus has done for all of us on earth. The reason im saying earth is becasue i truly believe Narnia exists, and there is no "real world". I fell in love with Aslan as soon as i saw him step out of that tent. He had an aura of power, love, and forgiveness. And after seeing what he had done for Edmund, it revealed a deeper magic inside me.

I guess you can call this "obsession", because i have the entire soundtrack on my iPOD nano (yay...ty daddy) and for the column "number of times played" on my iTunes, the average number is around 50. (I only got it 4 days ago!)

But yeah, im willing to ditch my entire social life for narnia ><
b/c i believe it exists.....staying 4everfaithful.....peace ppl

i was actually thinking i could see another world beyond my closet, hehehe,
i love reading books, coz it brings me to another world, i can meet new people, different ones, its like having a new life, and CoN did that to me,
i maybe too old*is 23 old?* coz, in my office, there are the Narnia, pop-up story card above my computer desk, and the soundtrack has been playing all day long.
*i did this too, in lotr, hehehehe :D

I completely wish that Narnia existed, but the only way that could is that God spoke through Lewis himself in making that and the chances of slim of it being true as Lewis claims it all fictional (But with God you never know.)

I have to 100% agree with your feelings on Aslan though. Strangely I'd be embarassed of admitting this to anyone I really knew... but he changed the way I look at being a Christian. At first I felt as if Aslan himself were supposedly Christ. But then I came to see that Aslan was a sort of representation of what Jesus would be should he take the form of a Lion and lived in Narnia. Therefore he's made it all different for me...

Overall I have no disbelief in me that Aslan exists, even if in the the form of my Saviour.

Deep. xD

I just noticed that theres actually a section for this type of threads... o_O
o well

It is never too old to believe...most of us grow up with the thinking that we get too old for certain childish things....i resent that.
Im 15 and would put faith into anything i believe is right or true.

Im gonna go check my closet.
If its there. Im never coming back. Unless Aslan tells me to. lol.
