what makes you happy?

I'm happy because my roommate isn't blasting music at me right now, and also because she's taken to listening to classical radio lately. :)
 
I am happy because I have the suite to myself right now and I am on here. I am happy because I figured out a way to better one of the novellas that are going to be in my book last night. I am also happy that my Volley ball play last night was not a total waste of time and that I was even able to score a couple of points.
 
I'm happy because I got my first Valentine's Day card ever! I don't care I had to ask for it myself, and the guy I got it from is not my boyfriend (he's gay actually, but he's a really good friend of mine)...
My first un-lonely Valentine!

Also, I'm glad that readers have been responding favorably to my "Alipang Havens" story. I was afraid that they would be turned off by the emphasis it places on a NON-romantic love relationship, i.e. between a brother and sister. (I've learned that Narnia fan-fic writers refer to this fondly as "fluff.") But all comments I'm getting are purely positive.
 
Well... I'm not exactly what you'd call happy right now, but if I wasn't so upset I'd be happy about the fact that at least I know where I stand now. Things can only get better from here. :)
 
I'm happy because I got over my writer's block, and my short essay (which is niether short nor an essay) is coming along well.

aye, i know these well, both writer's block and "short" essays...

i'm happy because come tuesday, i'll be freeeeeeeeeeeeeee. and because i'm listening to hawk nelson. can't feel bad when listening to them! :D

i've been studying all day, and now i'm taking the evening off... *sighs*

i'm happy cos we just played a game of mafia with ~15 people and it was fffun (though the mafia won)
