Working Title "Grand Theft Shoe"

Since you seem to have an extraterrestrial in the story, what other imaginative elements are present? Does the phrase "future girlfriend" reveal a _knowledge_ of the future due to time travel?

>> New stuff just frightened her.

Now, _that_ rings true. Popular culture tries to depict persons over age 40 as being stiffly set in their ways, with no imagination; but in reality it's often the _kids_ who urgently desire everything to stay familiar and predictable.

this is quite interesting, freckled one. i am slightly confused about all these characters, but they are interesting. it is good so far :D

After the business about stealing the car keys, I'm afraid that I can't find Ben so appealing and sympathetic a character as I guess you want me to think of him. Too often, those who believe they are SO-O-O-O clever to play tricks on others end up causing really hurtful results. But perhaps you are actually already planning for Ben to be taken down a peg, so that in the end he will BECOME a better person than he is now.

yah, ben is kind of an anoying boy lol
poor little Emma. the shy girl who is being taken advantage of! *simpathizes*
and josh, yah that would be cute.

yep, i like rude much better than poilteness most of the time. because rudeness (in the funny way) means familiarity, getting to know someone, knowing they won't be mad if they tease you to death, whereas politeness means "i don't know you and i'm afraid to come too close so i'll rather stay away...actually, why go through the trouble and risk hurting you when i can stay away altogether? i don't care so much anyway"

people with a healthy sense of humour should be able to distinguish playful rudeness and actual, hurtful rudeness.
Thats the way I feel usually...Ben almost seems mean, but not horribly. My mom always yells at me for being rude; but I just say "Mom, I'm just letting them know I like 'em!" :D

okay i'll put up the next part... as soon as i get it translated :p
(btw, no horrible grammatical mistakes so far? i couldn't imagine...)
I haven't noticed any horrible grammatical mistakes...then again, I'm pretty much the worst person when it comes to grammar.
