i went to the family christian bookstore to get the next book (i only had MN and LWW) and today was 25% everything with a coupon. my mom needed me to pick her up a book and my sister did as well so i ended up buying the last 5 rather than just 1 and payed for 3 and with the discount got 2 free! what a deal

Just out of curiousity (since I haven't been to a bookstore recently), were there different choices as to how to buy them? (ie...paperback, hardcover, boxed set, or perhaps a special edition of some sort?)

I've had the same boxed set of paperbacks for 20 years, but if there were some new, cooler set I might look into updating.

If you have a Walmart nearby, they are selling an unabridged collection in one large paper back, and also a collections of paperbacks. I find this useful to know, as i am currently working on my 4th or 5th complete set of the stories.. something about reading them alot...

Maybe they'll consider releasing a spiffy collector's edition of the books since the movie is doing so well, that's what I'm hoping. My beat up old paperbacks work in the meantime, they serve the purpose.

Oh, yeah, congratulations Kirke (on acquiring the rest of the books)...looks like you have alot of reading to do. Make sure you get some sleep inbetween books, heh.

i have seen the old covers (with drawings) and new covers in hard and paper backs with or without the whole set included, a hardback cover of the whole series, and audio tape version. lol i had to go back and get this cool bookmark while i was at it :p

I saw the paperback collection today..
I was wondering, do you guys think it would still be possible to buy any hard-cover books (if any)?
