Concerning the history of rabbits

Chapter 1: That wasnt supposed to happen!

One day as the scientests were experimenting with a strain of the rabies virus, something unexpected happened. The man who was handling the vile, while walking towards the table, tripped over his shoelaces and fell face down onto the ground. As he did so, the vile shattered spilling the contents everywhere. Unfortunitly, this particular strain was unlike any on our planet. As soon as it hit the ground, its particles practicly sucked themselves together forming a hovering vortex of rabies. The panic stricken scientest ran for their lives, barely making it out the door before an explosion erupted in the building. It is my belief that none of the foolhardy scientest survived. Anyways, after the explosion, the particles began to flash, sending an unearthly glow through out the room. An eery noise could be heard for miles surrounding the lab. It was an unearthly howl, such that has never been heard on our planet. The noise and flashing came to an end an the result was not what the scientest ever could have dreamed of.
Two little creatures slowly crept out from amongst the wreckage, an action that would for ever remain on the minds of the enlightened and that would plauge the universe forever.

Hmm, different... Bunnies are my favorite animal next to mice, you can't insult them! (just a pre-warning)

Wow, Ben! I've never met a triplet before! Twins, but not triplets...

LOL, Fernie, thats how the names came. Rabies- rabbits. Planet Bunny- bunny rabbit :D
I wonder if the 2 little creatures were the scintists turned into those or the people who did the thing

*lol, gtv, never thought of that! it is an interesting observation. perhaps that is what happened. yes, i figured some of the bunny enthusiest wouldn't like this story*

The eyes of the two creatures adjusted to the sunlight that was coming in around them. They looked at their soft, cotton-like tales and felt the whiskers upon their faces. Almost instently, they begin to scheme. "what is this that my eyes behold?" asked the first. The other replyed, "are we alive? Look at this place, it is completely in shambles!" The wind began to pick up, sending debree every which way. As the creatures walked (errrr, hopped?) through the mess, they saw the rest of civilization in the distance, living just as peacefully, as if nothing had ever happened. Certanely, they had to have heard the explosion?! The creature who had spoken first looked at her soft plush, brown (for those who know anything about rabbits, her fur was a broken chocolate lol) fur as she went over in her mind the previous happenings. Almost stealthely, they made their way to the nearest building. (now this particular planet was plauged with asma and thus, there were no animals upon it) Upon entering it, they were met with a horrific scream that echoed from the throaght of all the women in the building. "what is that?" "i have never seen anything like it" and "i feel that i am having an allergic reaction to it" were only some of the things that were exclaimed after the screaming was finally over. The faces of the creatures became downcast as they realized that they were the outcasts of society. Just as silently as they entered, they left, going as far away from human life as they deemed possisble on this now to them, wretched planet.

Thankee for more. Poor wabbits!:(

yes, thanks. i am not the best speller (i spell mostly phoneticly) especially when i dont take the time to look over what i wrote.

After the commotion in the building quieted down, one of the women exclaimed, "what is this? We hire scientest to create the vaccine to rabies and instead we get animals?!?!?!" ( since there were no animals priorly on the planet, i dont know why they wanted the vaccine. It was probably a result of their overactive fear of them brought on by their asma).
Meanwhile, the creatures found a deep dark hole and began to tunnel far out of sight of the rest of the planet. If they were to be outcasts, they figured it was best to be outcast underground. The made laberinths of tunnels, and, over time as the creature population grew, they begin to become more and more techically advanced. Soon the planets core was a fully oporational base for all of the creatures doings. Computers and communicators were only a few of their inventions (this is after all very impressive considering that it is thousands of years before Loui Pasture).

Chapter 2: Adventuring Out

As the years went by, the creatures became more and more adventurous. they had dwelt underground for long enough and yearned to return once again to the surface. One day they sent out a young rabbit to spy out the land. He was lean and built for speed. Every spring in his step was tinted by the hatrid for mankind that had long been brewing amongst the creatures in the core of the planet. His long sensitive ears were superb, able to hear the slightest noise from mile away and cool him off as he trecked across the planets surface. In the common manish toung, his name was peter polyester-tail. His green eyes flashed as he sprang forth with renewed viger towards the settelment that had first insulted his kin.
The ladies were of course long since dead but their children were as much of gossips as they had been. Peter nimbly entered the building where their ostricism had occured. Silently he hopped behind a large box and listened. unfortunitly, none of these ladies were giving him the information that he seeked. He made up his mind to return to the warren. As he moved out from behind the box, one of the ladies saw him and screamed shrilly enough to have broken all the windows in a 14 story office building, "Ahh!! It is a rabid animal! Its diseases will kill us all either that or our asmas will start up again!" Her screams were met with more screams of, "Rabid, Rabid Beast!", "Rabid!", and "We are all going to die!". In the commotion, Peter was successful in getting away and returned to the warren. From that day forward one word would forever be etched on the citizens of the planet, "RABID".
