I thought emo guys were gay.

Well, first to answer your question about when I became emo. Well, I've always been emo. I'm proud to be emo! I love being emo. I have reasons to be emo. If people hate me because of it then maybe I hate them.

And well some emo guys are gay. But some aren't. I know some that are not gay. And they're really hott too. But even the gay emo guys are hott. XD Until you find out that they're gay. Then they're no longer hott. Cuz then they're just ew. I could show you a pic of a hott emo guy that is not gay. You may not think he's hott but I do. And I'm lucky to actually well soon know him. As soon as I get to go to my friend's church. SEE! He's even a Christian...and he's emo...and he looks emo...and he's hott.

Yeah... It's funny to admit... but they're all so attractive to me... *sigh*
With their tight pants and perfectly symmetrical hair... *daydreams*
Their great photographing skills... of themself that is. XD

OMG I didn't see this post!

*starts cracking up*

Yeah emo guys are hot.
So are scene guys.

And by the way- the ones that take pictures of themselves are scene.
The ones that cut themselves are Emo. There's a huge difference.
Scene = BIG self esteem problem
Emo = No self esteem at all

ahhh!! all these labels are confuzzling! :p

That's why no person in the right mind would use them.
I'm only looking at this thread because I feel the need to correct every stereotype people make.

But don't worry- scene and emo are often confused. Sometimes even into scemo.
:p

No just kidding that's an impossible combo.

But just for this- honestly, Emo is it's own subculture. It's not what most of you think it is and this club thing is rubbish. Emo is its' own thing. There are actually books on this, in fact, one just recently came out that's a very good parody on emo:

http://www.myspace.com/theemobook

I've read three excerpts from it and I want to get it from the library because it makes me laugh.

:p EMO = NEVER EXISTED

Everyone is a person- sorry to break it to you.
Emo just happens to be the musical taste/clothing style/sub culture of some people.
And that's okay.

I love it. It's so funny.

Seriously- stereotypes are the dumbest things ever. PLEASE for everyone's sake around you. Don't label people.

That's when you get to be your proud non-labeling self. And when they label someone, you say "Hm. They look pretty much like a human being to me." :p

Scene confuzzles me...I don't even know where it came from... O_O I was just like one day talking to my friend and she was like "I'm a hardcore scene kid." and I was just like "Ooookay. Well, I'm a hardcore emo kid. =]" and she was like "lol" and from then on i was like "wth is sceeeene!?!?" i searched it on photobucket though...and they have very colorful clothing and hair w/e they are...and from their clothing and stuff...well if anybody could possibly be scene and emo...that person would be me...

Scene is this by stereotype laws:

Myspace kiddie- their game is how many friends they can have on myspace.
Hair- Like emo but more colorful and more full of hairspray so as not to lie flat but poof or do as the person likes.
Clothes- Shirts with repeating patters like squiggles, stars, dollar signs, whatever. Big sunglasses are good. Layers are good- you have to mix fashion styles to be scene. HAIR BOWS ARE A MUST FOR GIRLS!

That's basically it. The OLD scene was kids who you know.. were active in the music scene of their local place.
But it's changed now.

Forget stereotypes. I'd say this thread should be put into oblivion. It's making ME stereotype.

Okay, that helps. =] I'm like half scene then. O_O I'm in love with myspace, I love clothes like that, big sunglasses RULE, and hair bows are awesome but I don't have any to wear...and I don't have any money to buy any...and my friend would like cuss me out if I started wearing them and be like "you copied me! i hate you! you're a [insert not nice words]!"
