The next day Katie woke up with Josh on the other side of the room " Wow what a sleeper," she said to herself, walking out of her room " I'll be right back," she said looking at Josh, and went to Jarod's room " Jar are you there?," She asked.

The Minute Katie left the room Josh opened his eyes. I have to get out of here he thought. But as he got out of bed he slipped on the floor of ice. Apparently someone heard him because he heard footste[s
 
She laughed " What about the room? it all ways been made of ice that's who I am I have to keep cold," she told him, coming to help him up " My friend Jarod hit you because well we, wasn't sure if you where about to kill us," she told him.

"Sorry. I guessed I panicked." I have been that way ever since I became a mutant."
 
She took a seat on her bed " Oh, well I'm kind of new at this I just found out that I have power of ice and everything else," she told him " I'm Kathleen, but my friends call me Katie and you are?," she asks.

"I'm Josh. I'm sorry for the trouble, but I have been on the run from cops. They arrested me because I was a mutant, and they thought I was dangerous. They are beginning to do that to all mutants. That Senetor Kelly has been pressing the Mutant Registration Act. "
 
She rolled her eyes " Well you are safe here no one well hurt you now not when I'm around at lest," she told him, now looking up " Do you want me to make this room a bit warmer so you don't have to worry about slipping again?," she asked.
 
Lizzy woke up with a start, her dreams had been restless and confusing. She didnt feel like she'd slept at all but judging to the sunlight streaming in through her open curtains she guessed that it was time to get up.

She stood up and went to have a wash, when she got back she threw on some clothes not really caring what and went to see Katie.

She wondered down the hall till she came to Kaites room. When she got there she knocked softly on the door and waited for Katie to answer.
 
Katie got up and answered the door " Oh, hi Lizzy won't you come in?," she asked, with a huge smile on her face " did you sleep well?," she asked.
 
She sat right back down on her bed " I'm slept all right," she told her, now playing with her ice " Oh, this is Josh and he is every nice," she told her, with a smile on her face.
 
Katie looked at him " Josh you didn't answer my questions do you want me to make my room warmer because you look like your all white," she told him, now making the room warmer then before the ice from the floor was malted.
 
Katie got him " His is not take that back!," she told him, not notesing she just said that " Oh, sorry about that I didn't mean to yell at you Josh," she told him, now the room was dark " Ahh waht happen now!," she asked, running next to Lizzy and Josh.
