Silver sort of reminds me of Susan here.

Yeah I kinda did that purposefully, what I'm reading at the time seems to effect my writing, and right now I'm re-reading VODT and Anthropos and FOTR. lol so I suppose it rubs off eh?:p

anywho....

“Whita Cat smita cat,
little tiny kitten cats!
Played their games,
with a cat,
who they said was white!
I just laughed,
Be-he-cause,
I knew it wasn’t true,
ha who!
So White Cat,
Where you at?
I can’t see you,
So you ain’t there.
Be-he-ha-ha-he!
I’ll just laugh,
Say you see,
I just say
‘Bahahahaha-he-ha!’”

Silver would have continued but suddenly she heard a deep loud growl and a… ROAR!
She jumped and screamed as she did, but there was nothing there.
‘Jus your mind playin’ tricks on ya Sil. Calm down naow, nuttin’ wrong… heh heh he ha he!’ but it seemed too real and certainly left Silver shook up.

Then something else made Silver jump. A loud, clear melodious voice began to sing somewhere nearby, yet Silver saw no one save the others walking in front of her.

“You speak of things you do not know,
So I understand your confusion,
And even you anger.
But little silver cat,
You make me laugh,
The things you say,
About the White Cat,
Could not be further from true!

Ask little Mozart she’ll tell you,
Ask little Fire,
Ask your little sister!
Ask them ask them!
See what they say!
Hey, see what they see,
Hear what they hear,
Look where they look,
Smell where they smell.

Little silver cat,
All that I ask,
Is that you think,
Before you say,
Another word of the White Cat!
From a cherry,
So ripe, so sweet,
Take this little cherry’s advice!
The White Cat loves you,
So love Him too!”

Then the song ended and Silver was left standing there, stunned.

it says who sung it at the end of the song; "From a cherry,
So ripe, so sweet,
Take this little cherry’s advice!"

Unless I neglected to say her name in Mozart then she ought have been mentioned before. hmm, maybe I'll elborate that part a bit.

I noticed that but I couldn't think of anyone who that would apply to. (And I can't believe I wrote "who sung the song". I know better than that!:D)

“You’re crazy!”

Fire looked for a moment like she was going to cry, then composed herself and whispered back, “No, I’m not.”
“You believe in summat you can’t see and think he can keep you safe?!? Well it doesn’t look like he’s doin’ a very good job!” Shady said scornfully.
“Shady…”
“Lemme alone!” Shady ran away from her friend.
Fire bowed her head “But he is real, Shady.”

Shady curled up in a little ball underneath a large tree. Suddenly she felt a warm paw wrap around her shoulder.
“You feel it too?” a voice asked.
“Ya.”
“I thought the White Cat loved us, but…”
“Yea.”
Fire saw Hope and Shady together. She wished she knew what to do, yet suddenly she felt compelled to go talk to them both.
She walked almost mechanically over to them.
“Shades, Hope, I need to talk to you both.”

Hope looked at her, “I’m so sorry Fire but…”
“No, Hope I’m not mad at you.” Fire realized it wasn’t her speaking.
“The White Cat does love you, he loves you both more than you and I could ever know. Just because we can’t see him doesn’t mean he isn’t there. Just because he lets bad stuff happen to use doesn’t mean he doesn’t love us.”
“He is not real, Fire.”
Fire looked at her friend, “Yes he is, Shady.”
“No.” Shady walked away.

Fire turned to Hope who watched her intently.
“I’ve never heard a kitten talk like you do, Fire.”
“I’ve neva heard me say summat like that either!”
Hope laughed. She had a merry laugh that rang out so loudly that one of the guards yelled at them to be quiet. When things calmed back down though both kits laughed together softly.

“I believe Fire, I believe in the White Cat now.”
Fire grinned, “Yay!” she said softly.
“Yay!” Hope responded.

“Who is the White Cat, Mozart?”
Mozart looked at Silver and smiled, “Oh how do I describe him! He is pure white, not like snow purer, his eyes twinkle and are one hundred million trillion times more intense and beautiful than mine! He is huge and tall and, and…”
“Oh!”

As Mozart was speaking the White Cat had appeared in front of Silver.
“Will you believe now, little one?” he asked her.
“Y-y-y-yes!” stuttered an amazed Silver.
The White Cat smiled, “That is good.” Then he turned to Mozart, “I have taken you to the edge of the desert, from here you will be able to pick up the scent of Claw and his creatures. Fireheart and the others are safe for now, but go to them with haste. You have many perils in front of you, but you will not give up, will you Mozart?”
“No, sir!” exclaimed Mozart, “I did once and I never will again!” the tiny kitten smiled.
“Good.” The White Cat smiled back at her. Then to the whole company he said, “I will be with you through all the trials you face, do not fear anything for I am with you!” then he turned and walked away. They watched until he had disappeared from view.
“Well that’s that!” said Brave, “So where now my friends?” he sounded more like a warrior than a kitten now.
“Into danger and peril to rescue those whom we love most!” cried Silver, “But we shall not forget that the White Cat is with us!”

“C’mon I’ve caught the scent!” called Sanga.

Chapter twelve
Chasms and Tunnels and the Great White Cat

Creamy noticed the land they were on began sloping down, he nearly tumbled down it.
Suddenly he saw a huge long chasm in front of them.
“We aren’t headed for that are we?!?” he exclaimed to Shady who nodded her head, her eyes were wider than normal.
Creamy swallowed hard and stared ahead of them at the giant gap.
They came closer and closer to the edge, two wooden planks with no sides were the only things to walk across.

Claw strode calmly onto the bridge, undaunted by the height or the fact that at any moment he may fall down to his death in the chasm below.
He turned back to the rest, “What? Afraid of a little bridge? Ha! You Lilly livered excuses for warriors!”

Fire pushed her way forward, siblings and Hope following her.
“We norra afraid, Claw!” cried out Fire bravely.
Shady went up with them, “An’ I ain’t afraid neither! Iffin the slaves will cross so’ll I!”

Gradually more and more followed the slave-kittens and Shady.
Fire walked boldly in front, trying not to look down. Eventually she did though and was frozen in place for several seconds until Shady pushed her forward, “Hurry up!” she growled.

Tansy clung to her brother Jako’s paw her eyes closed.
“It over yet, Jakie?”
“No, don’t lookie yet!” he lead her along slowly but steadily.

Creamy did likewise with Pumpkin, but nobody held Fire, Shady or Hope’s paws.
“Dey so brave,” Pumpkin whispered to Creamy, “Goin’ cross like that, witout a fear inna world!”
“Ya, Fire is awsomeatic.”
“So are you, Creams.” Pumpkin leaned over and licked her brother’s cheek.
“Aw shucks.” Creamy’s ears turned red.

After what seemed like years the kittens came to the other side. Really it only took less than a half hour for all of them to cross with no problems. Fire’s brave stand would’ve made even the toughest warrior feel ashamed; a kit crossing but they dare not, and it had an effect too.

Little more before S-studies starts!;):D

“Hey! I see summat ahead!” little Frodo had been going ahead of his companions ‘scouting’ for anything interesting.
Toto ran up beside him swiftly, “By the White Cat! Come look at this, everyone, hurry!” he cried.
Mozart hurried up, the others hot on her paws, “What is it Toto, Frodo?” she panted.
“Look!” Frodo pointed his little gray paw to the bridge where the last of Claw’s creatures were crossing.
“I can see Fire!” yelped Dorthy who had come up too, “Or all her siblings I suppose; see those little orange dots? That’s them all right, an archer never misses her mark!” and with that Dorthy took out her bow and fired. The arrow had a red flag on it, meaning she intended a challenge.

Ah! Cliffhanger!:D
More?

I love cliffhangers.:p

Fire’s keen eyes saw the arrow and its red flag. She tugged on Shady’s arm, “That’s Mozart, and she brought the others too! It’s the whole LFF Catlition!”

Claw saw them too but knew that the bridge stood between them. Yet he did not doubt the young cats who opposed him: he knew that their leader, Mozart, had killed Cogg his master.
“Shall we return the challenge, sir?” asked his general.
“No.”
“What?!?”
“No, we shall not except. These are great warriors. Before you contradict me I tell you this; when I was younger I had a master called Cogg. That tiny cat,” he pointed to Mozart, “Killed him. Cogg was a wolf. Every one of those kitten are worth four of us, at least. And they want the slaves. I’m not going to risk it.”

But Mozart and the LFF Catlition were already down the hill and headed unheedingly and quickly, across the bridge.
“FIRE!!!”
