8. Hilarious, but sometimes a little too free with the more serious aspects of the story.

Santa Fe Trail?

Prince of Persia: The sands of time

Well, I am somewhat stuck in the middle on this one. I have played the PoP series (The sands of time, warrior within and the two thrones) and even though it was a good try to go a different direction on the story that was used in the game it lacked some strengths that made the PoP series one of the most popular video game franchises in the world.

As for the movie itself, I have heard that through several scenes in the movie, you can see the stunt double that does several of Jake Gyllenhaal (The Prince)'s stunts pretty easily. Then again, there was too many flaws that doomed this movie that I can not list here. And from seeing how bad it did in theaters, there is no way that Disney will try to do warrior within and two thrones. Also, if anyone on here played the series, you know in the next two following Sands of time, it gets pretty violent and gory. So if Disney tried to do it, they will really water down the movies, which will make fans of the games really mad and then it can ultimately hurt Disney's chances to do live-action movies in the future. Disney did a good job with Pirates of the Caribbean and the first two Chronicles of Narnia movies, but they pushed their luck on this and they failed. And one more thing, this movie has been ranked one of the worst movies of 2010 and one of the worst ever for Disney.

My rating out of 10...4

2 out of 5

If you want to watch that movie just for Travis and Bowie and those two guys who are always asking each other, "Do this mean what I think it do? It do," then fine, but John Wayne is a flop of a Davy Crockett.

Finding Nemo?

3. I didn't like their way of showing many of the old, peaceful pagan religeons as fiercely satanic. And the whole story wasn't like Sherlock at all...

Coffee & Cigarettes

Since TerraNarnian did not post another movie....The Alamo (with John Wayne)?

Finding Nemo?

I honestly disagree with that. Maybe it's because of my bias with John Wayne, and granted he wasn't the best (Fess Parker is the best don't you know), but he wasn't a flop. On the contrary, I think he had some great lines in that movie, lines that speak to the heart of every true Texan, and in reality, every red-blooded American. His whole speech about the feeling of the word "republic" is an example. He not only was able to tap into what it meant to be a Texan, but what it meant to be an American. Maybe because John Wayne was one of the truest Americans who ever lived, and who actually understood what our Constitution was. Oh, and he was a patriot too.

Certainly better than the sordid 2004 version with Billy Bob Thornton. Now THERE's a flop.

Haven't seen that.

Tahaan (India 2008)

Don't watch foreign films.

Troy

Didn't see it,but I heard it was sort of...bad.
Although Eric Bana was praised for his role there-was he any good in his acting?

Slumdog Millionaire :)

I saw the tv version; amc channel usually edits the films they show, so I didn't get any nudity (or very little), and the battle scenes were probably edited too. I didn't really care for Troy, to be perfectly honest. First, I can't stand Brad pitt. He was horrible as Achilles. Diane Kruger is another one, and Orlando Bloom. Disgusting. Their acting especially was atrocious. PEter O'Toole was ultra annoying in this movie, but I did sorta like Brian Cox as Agamemnon and Brendan Gleeson as Menelaus; they played good "bad guys". Eric was probably the best in the movie. His portrayal of Hector was true to Homer's Hector, and I really loved his scenes. I do think his character could have done with more screen time though; he was underused, I felt. Not really worth seeing again, though, IMO.

for marley's movie, haven't seen it because of content.
