While I was waiting for you to return, I managed to wheedle Dayhawk into posting some. We've got the caravan on the road again at last.

Horatius reminded the humans that he needs meat, and had been planning to get some for the whole party besides. Ralph, the page, was all set to assist him in managing the carcasses. But Ebony, Lucy's horse, thinking of hunting as only a sport rather than survival, demanded to come along for the sake of a nice gallop. So now the MAIN party consists of Susan, Aravis, Adilia, Elena and Kayeleigh.
IN ADDITION: Assuming a substantial fight, the birds convoying Peter should at the very least help out by some harassing dives at the enemy. One of the birds with Peter is a talking eagle.
I'm going to be away for a bit. So if you plan for us to have some villains to fight, go ahead and control Peter as you see fit. Note that he is likely to hurl a spear to reduce enemy numbers before they get to close quarters. He will also be on guard to fend off arrows with his shield. Note that Peter's current horses are not talking ones.
Something else you need to take over when you return to Cair Paravel: since before the start of the roleplay, a mated pair of Talking Eagles (never named so far) have been out beyond the western borders, reconnoitering the wilderness in case of any kind of hostiles being active there. The last word anyone inside Narnia had of them was that Talking Lions living outside Narnia had met the eagles as the eagles waited out bad weather. Depending on how fast the Hermit-quest goes, the eagles may REMAIN unaccounted for till after we move on to a new plotline; but you might also choose to have them come back while you're in charge at the castle.
hey do me a favor would ya? can you pull for Leia and get rid of Padme on the Elimination thread while im gone?
Yes, I am going today. I think its because I have a collection of stuffed lions, an alarm clock, cell phone charger, portable dvd player, laptop, backpack, and books ALL OVER my bed all the time, so I have to sleep in the middle. ;)
