Right, then you get angry and shut your page off to comments. You state it's an opinion then say, "It didn't do well in box office because it's not an enjoyable movie and never will be" Everyone I saw the movie with at the theater thought it was a fun, entertaining and well thought out hollywood movie. Also, quality isn't judged by how much a work makes on release. You came here and yelled about opinions and trashed the movie, but didn't support your thesis.

You wanna know why I liked the movie so much? I thought it handled Aslan, the magical elements and themes pretty well. It had a decent climax and retained the Aslan's country thing with awesome results. If it was as "poorly edited" as you said it was the scenes would had been shot backwards, we wouldn't be able to tell who's saying what and it would cut too often during action scenes. Also, the acting for Eustace? Absolutely phenomenal. I could go on, but I won't.

Of course you would. It's called an OPINION, not Bible truth, and I'm allowed to say it as much as I want to if it comes up. If Dawn Treader had been an "excellent" film, it would have done better at the box office. The reason it didn't: it was not an enjoyable mainstream movie and never will be. Every time I watch it, I cringe to think of spending the money to support it while it was in theaters, and I also cringe when I think about how I defended the movie before it came out.

Let opinion be opinion and leave it alone, will ya? You're not forced to agree with it, and I'm not forced to agree with yours. In fact, you don't see me posting on people's profiles saying, "You're WRONG cause Dawn Treader was HORRIBLE. <insert personal review here>." Puhlease. If I hated people that much, sure, I'd probably do that to every person that came out in favor of Dawn Treader. But I don't, because I let them have their opinion. I think you should consider doing the same.

So put a sample of it in the existing Writing Club thread about if others had written LWW.
