As another pot on the stove, I am now writing my first new piece of straightfaced fiction in quite a while. This, in response to a request from Dayhawk for people to write fairytales. My novelette is titled "Flying Girl and Iron Merchant."

That's the biggest misconception about the South that I will ever hear. The majority of the South lived on small farms, cause we weren't rich enough to have slaves. And only the Huge Plantation owners had slaves. The war wasn't on slavery, remember that.
you won because of the industrialization, but who now controls the power house? Without Texas, there are two things you cannot accomplish. The unification of America, and the winning of the South. You didn't win.....look at all the problems it caused and think about that again. The only real winners in that war were the dead men.
