Hey! Entering with a battle sounds fine to me, but I'm tweaking the circumstances just a bit.

Minotaurs don't strike me as good reconnaissance creatures (can anyone say big and noisy?). I think Jadis would know about the Ninecatcher-Gripstone attack at most three or four days later. I don't think she would have responded by sending more Minotaurs, who have no skill in stealth and are clearly less than a match for Ninecatcher and Gripstone. How about a group of goblins instead? Be warned, though, they're far cleverer than Minotaurs, and far more sneaky. In fact, I think they may have set up an ambush...

Please coordinate with Little Otter who seems to be Jadis. Ask her if she thinks Jadis would know by now that something happened to the previous Minotaur squad in the secondary pass; if yes, then what you encounter could be more Minotaurs looking for the ones Gripstone and Ninecatcher slew. Note that Ninecatcher's eventual successful entry into Narnia was NOT by the route with the Minotaurs, but by the "main" pass.

Good writeup. However, the Mods wavered around a bit in the early stages of getting the threads started; that is, they wavered about the exact point in Jadis' career that we begin with. The final word is that we begin when Jadis' conquest of Narnia is almost complete, and there ARE NO above-ground lawful authorities remaining in Narnia. As far as human citizens of Narnia are concerned, the word now is "Flee!"

If you imagine having met my Ninecatcher and her husband Gripstone after they came up from the South, they would have been able to tell you that Aslan told them that Jadis must be allowed to rule for a time, to chastise Narnia for the faithlessness of many Narnians.

That naming convention was only for twins. Something vaguely Celtic could always be used.

They have a thread called Character Creation. Write there your description of your character. But the Mods may refuse to let you control a force of men; you may have to function like a Middle-Earth Ranger, on your own. But you could still say that you have met my Tigress' convalescing husband back in Archenland, and so would have news for Ninecatcher of his progress.

Please don't abandon your thought of joining the "Snow" roleplay. Submit a character!

good, so far, actually, its due in 2 weeks, and I have all day tomorrow (which is a day off for me) to work on it, and I'm hoping to get ALMOST done... if there is anything I'm not, its a procrastinator, so I'm hoping to be done early.
