lol me too I love history. we're learning about the Civil War right now, which is cool. I like the wars. and I also learned a interesting fact about my birthday in history... during the war of 1812, the British burned Washington DC exactly on my birthday, August 24. i thought that was cool, so i guess i'm a history nut =] its the class that goes quickest for me.

anyways, if you knew your American History, sir, you would know that Mexico owned all of the south-western area of our country, and most of the inhabitants of the towns stayed even after the Americans took over in the Mexican/American war, it just comes with their heritage.
