  • Yes, you did well. I'm just getting burned out with the way some people WORK HARD for the goal of MAKING themselves NOT know the truth. Mr. Lewis felt the same way late in his life.
Of course Freda Lewiston DOES NOT speak for me!! Do you think I'm a total moron? (-: The argument she makes was once made TO me by an ultra-liberal United Methodist minister.
On the Homeschoolers Roleplay, I have just now created an update for the first day of school.
As I said to GentleVoice, I now say to you: attention to OTHER people's entries is needed. I already posted that the school doesn't have a serious gang problem. So try not to create the impression that Brendan's foes are a real GANG-gang. But since you've gone this far, I'll work in something with the principal....
I've created a principal, a black woman named Freda Lewiston. She's a bit politically correct, but she means well. Plan to meet her? She will give slight hints of disliking the military, but will not be nasty about it.
Alipang, who works as a waiter, had the chance to speak by phone with Kim's mother, about his boss's offer of once-weekly food aid for the Tisdale family. I tell you as the REAL person you are, but very few characters within the story will know how the Tisdales are being helped. And the Tisdales will find ways to give some form or work in return.
No romantic relationships are definitely established yet. The single most likely-looking is the boy Grant with the girl Summer.
Maybe your character could be attracted to one of the established female characters (but not Kim! she's mine!). We have a badly uneven boy-girl ratio, as usual.
Let me know if your character attends Redemption Free Church where the Havens family goes. If so, they are likely to know Alipang and his dentist father (who periodically donates his services at the Free Clinic downtown).
