Nightfire has a right to say what becomes of Dan. Maybe you could exchange e-mails with HER for scenes involving Dan. And yeah, to the extent that my suggestion IS possible, I would handle other characters. But we can mostly do dialogues between Al and Chil in which they TELL each other about events.
Parts of mine aren't going my way either, but God is still in control and on His throne. Sometimes it's good to take time to focus on what is happening in real life and get it in order. I know I have a lot of things to do as well. I hope everything will get better for you Hannah!
