I suggest what I already suggested: Chilana's mother is a niece or younger cousin of Mr. Imada, as Maria Ramos is a niece of Mrs. Imada. Chilana's father is a white American, former military. He married your Mom in the Philippines just before the U.S. presence was pulled out of there about 20 years ago. Your Dad had no strong roots, so he didn't mind settling near his bride's uncle in Virginia.

The Imadas are very close with the Havens family; so if you think of yourself as knowing "Aunt Carmen," you are also acquainted with Alipang, the waiter and adopted son of a dentist.
Sort of. Copperfox and Dayhawk wanted their characters to meet before school. So they started so they could do that. You can join them. It's the sunday before the first day of school and they are at a restaurant after meeting at church. Nightfire had her character go to the restaurant too.

Just put her in the scene, say that she trusts Vissarion as a good guy, and state that you're letting me run the character from there.
Just let her be part of the crowd led out of the castle by Meridia and Verragoe. She doesn't have to DO much.
Any chance you could post once more, allowing your character to be carried along somehow? I hate having characters just cease to exist.
