    Glad you're here! A couple of technical points for your story:

    1) A lance is always six feet long or longer, can be over ten feet. That is not going to fit IN anyone's pants.

    2) The straps which guide a horse are "reins," with no G. "Reign" with a G refers to a monarch's time of ruling.
