I mean adult or nearly-adult persons who, in various situations, WILLFULLY CHOOSE to be stupid. Reading my "Alipang Havens" novels will illustrate what I mean, by way of all the willfully-stupid people my hero Alipang has to contend with.

At a Renaissance Festival, the customers are made to feel that they have STEPPED INSIDE a costumed historical play; they get to MEET the King and Queen, along with other characters of an earlier century. And when they meet me as I go about the grounds in costume, they are meeting an early church leader of the Protestant Reformation.
