  • Hi Violet!
Thanks for sending me a friend request. :) Sorry it took me so long. I haven't been on TDL in awhile.
    How have you been doing?
History and literature, preferably if the two can be together...I'm in college, so I get plenty of homework--which I'm coincidentally supposed to be doing right now...but instead I've been looking up silly threads in the Land of Duffers. Have you been in that part of the forums yet? It's great. :)
    Heyy Violet :D
Oh! I remeber in her speech she had to do she said that alot.
Woah so you haven't had your summer holiday yet?
Yeah! I think its really cool! I've never met anyone from Spain before, that I remeber :D
Hey! Ah, that makes sense! Here in the USA, our fall season is starting. Now that summer is (finally) over, the weather is just beginning to get cooler.Wow, that is really cool! I hope you can visit someday, too! Actually, one of my dreams is to visit all 7 continents, so I'd like to visit South America as well.
The opportunities are definitely one of the nice things about homeschooling. Those are both great subjects! Mine are similar to yours! History, English, and almost anything to with types of thought (theology, philosophy...). I'm sorry, I should have been more clear--I was asking about which subjects or classes you were taking, and you answered. :) English is a lazy language that doesn't make much sense, so I really admire people like you who learn it as a second language. You speak (write :p) it very well!
    You're welcome!
Are you familiar yet with the major section called The Professor's Writing Club? It is found pretty far down the starting page. Several threads of mine can be found in there.

You might want to start with a thread called "Sonnets Here, In-House." It is full of poems which describe past and present forum members.

As for stories, if you want to see something Narnian, here is my suggestion: look first, not for my work, but for a story called "The Lion's Share," written by a member called Timbalionguy. Tim and I had a COMBINED project. His story, not yet completed, is supposed to happen before one of mine. So go ahead and read as much as there is of "Lion's Share," then go straight to MY story called "Southward the Tigers"--and you'll see that together they form ONE story that makes sense.

If you care for fantasy which has nothing to do with Narnia, read "Iron Merchant." And if you like "real world" stories, read "Alipang Havens."
I'm pleased to have another forum friend! Do you happen to have read any of my poems or stories here?
oh, it doesnt help that the only spanish i know is hola and una-veeda-sana which is something to do with healthy eating

not yet, i go back on september 9th, you?
You speak Spanish? My sister took that for GCSE's but she doesn't have the excotic accent to go with it. You seem you speak it very well still :D Is it true that all spanish girls are beautiful? I've always just imagioned that
Oh yes the rainy weather it such a turn on :) hahahaaa
    I doubt it, I'm too young, Will Poulter's like 17 or something and I'm 13 so it's like :l :D
Ah, that sounds great! Winter holiday? If you don't mind me asking, where do you live? (Here in the US, we're in the middle of summer vacation! :p) Yes, it really is great, thanks! I really enjoy having a wider variety of subjects to take, and the freedom to go unconventional. :D
I love your name, it's beautiful! I don't think I've met anyone named Violet before, actually. So what are you taking for school this year?
