while Eragon is NOT a good place to start! Saphira sounds like gollum with a sore throat and Murtagh sounds Irish
there VERY good. I'm officially obsessed with them. But they did the movie all wrong and the book on tape sounds wierd

don't watch the movie till after you've read the first two books
don't listen till the books on tape till after you read the book

sure. well my favorite character (Murtagh) in my favorite series (Eragon) turned evil and I'm in mourning so I wear red and black
normally blue/green but at the moment it's red and black (long story)
