    Yes, it always did seem to me that ballet was the least cost-effective type of dance: that is, the most exertion demanded of the dancers relative to the amount of pleasure the onlooker can receive.

    I took ballet when I was five. I don't remember if it hurt or not, but I didn't use pointe shoes. I quit after a few weeks. :rolleyes:

    But lyrical sounds like fun. Are you enjoying it more than ballet?
