  • My friends and I are constantly singing that song with a lisp, pretending to be little kids, so they can't take it seriously any more. The concept is sad, but I didn't think it was well exucted.
I didn't like '08, but it's rotteness was mostly my fault. I was such an idiot.
Not really. I'm rather insensitive. I find things that are sad funny, a lot of the time. (Like the Christmas Shoes...) Most people think I'm heartless. XD I haven't cried since September, while finishing Les Miserables..
My Dad read them to me when I was five. I was so crushed when Aslan died. I was in hysterics and couldn't read any more.
I used to be such a sensitive little tyke. :)
I read Screwtape letters about two or three years ago. I recall liking it, though I don't remember much what it was about.
CS Lewis is great. I've loved Narnia since I was about five.
I have to get my Parents approval for movies, but I can read whatever. They know I don't read junk.
Although there is a lot of objectional content in some classic books that you wouldn't expect. Especially if you know what Shakespeare was actually saying. Ew.
But I'm ok with Victor Hugo. I haven't found anything really objectional or offensive with him in the four of books of his I've read. Just sorrow.

Right now, I'm reading Mere Christianity. It's been on my shelf for ages, and I never read the whole thing...
Ow sweetie. I'm so sorry about 2008! Here's to a much better 2009 *raised hot chocolate mug to toast* *hugs*
Ah, that explains why you have made some references to moving away. Why'd you have to leave Virginia?
And I live in an old drafty (charming) house where the climate is usually milder than this. *warms hands on hot chai tea latte-filled mug*:)
*facepalm* oh and I was doing so well NOT posting to my own wall lol

I'm not sure what it is now, but it was supposed to be -8c/17F this morning.....brrrr....
well i found one on google and i luv it but i dunno who made it
I'm sitting at my desk (working from home) with a blanket around my legs and the doggie door closed! Just decided to switch to decaf coffee *runs around the room on caffeine buzz and to wram up!!!*
Peter: Alice is right. I think it's one of the creatures who live here
    Me: But aren't they spies?
    Peter: We don't know yet
Alice: Look Sam...it looks like your Goldberry is over there
    Sam: Great!
    Alice *grins*
    Sam: What is it?
    Alice: It looks like her!
Sam *waves*: OMG!! IT'S A DWARF!!
    Everybody *laugh*
Sam: This means we are trapped again?
Peter: I don't know if we are trapped but something isn't right
    Me: Great........
Eric: We must find out who or what is following us
Sam: But are we now back on our way to Goldberry?
Peter: I suppose so but we must figure it out
