Do you want to imagine that your cat character already knows what is happening to Narnia? If yes, then here is a good thing for Littlgriz the Cat to know:

The last human King of Narnia died without having any children to take his place. This made it much easier for Jadis to come in and take over. Aslan did not stop Jadis, because too many Narnians already had stopped being faithful to Aslan. So Jadis having the chance to rule is like a punishment for Narnia. But Aslan still is okay with humans being rescued out of Narnia, so that someday when Jadis is dead they can come back INTO Narnia.
