    I am indeed very lucky!!! But still, I regret I won't see the Eastern part and the Scandinavian countries and Iceland! (sigh!) I'm still rearranging my trip sked and now its total is 121 days!!!!

    When you say Karel didn't reply until now, do you mean that now he HAS replied, or that you are still waiting? If you are still waiting with no news from him, I would suggest (from very limited knowledge of your situation!) that you write something casual to him. Remind him you're there, without sounding worried.

    Whatever is the situation for which you remarked about "writing back," even if it can't anymore be exactly as it was, your staying in contact with whoever it is, may bring some OTHER good thing.
