I am glad to find someone who enjoys talking with me so much. I have little fellowship so I relish talks here.
I was reading a book by a man who I respect for different reasons and I had read one of his other fictional works. But this second book that I was reading was clearly for adults. There was content that...I do not care to read at my time of life. Nothing terrible, but just a little more relationship than I care for. So...I read it, didn't soak it in or re-read it and simply crossed it out for the next time I read it. This is how I handle a book that I want to read again.

Well, I try to make sure I know the book first...get some background on/reviews.
I know that you can't avoid it all together. I really think that this is where the armor that our parents prepared for us must protect us. We must be able to be hit by the arrows, in this case words, and let them glance off of our armor. I don't think that we can avoid it really...at least not completely.

Me too at times...I am working on getting better though! My most recent non essential was my royal ring! I could not resist! I always wear it now and I said that I was going to only wear it the first day! I like looking at it and imagining my future... -
