  • Hi Rose
What are you doing this fall? Did you get a teaching position? If you are not too busy, I would like to cordially invite you to submit names for properties for the Narniopoly project I have started

Blogging is fun. I've met a lot of Christian bloggers, even a lot of bloggers a bit younger than me who are proud to say that they are followers of Him, which I am still afraid of doing.

Well, it depends what my church's youth group is doing, but it's mainly helping the local shelters.

Retreats are awesome. The last one was before school ended, but I still had tons of fun. I also agree with you that people would go on retreats; I'll try to convince some of my friends who are also religious.

Thank you. Now, I have been praying a lot more. There's like this feeling in my heart that is my love for Him, and it's so... full. You know what I mean?

Well, I have to go for now. Until tomorrow, I suppose. :)

I've been blogging lately. I've also been volunteering and well, getting close to God. I began going on retreats, which are pretty fun! Other than that, things have been normal.
Thanks for praying for Yvonne! While you're at it, please pray for a young woman named Stefanie, who has lately joined in the fairy events. She is heart-breakingly beautiful to the sight, and very sweet in temperament.... but completely and absolutely clueless about God.
Thank you. I do what I can to support Carol in this, but she has a long habit of independence, and would rather NOT be helped TOO much.
I've got my income-tax information all gathered at last -- always a relief. Accountant appointment next week. Meanwhile, Carol is acting as an unpaid hospice worker, looking after her friend Dorothy who is dying of cancer.
I have been good just not frequently able to spend long periods of time on this site due to my work schedule.
I have those feelings too... One of my fellow teachers is so organized and great motivation... then there's me... :p
I once was inspired by Luke, then I wanted to be Anakin (why, I don't know) and finally I have chosen the most respectable Jedi to emulate. :)
My sister is in her first year of high school. High schools in the US run from ninth grade (for 14 year-olds) through to twelfth grade (for 18-year-olds). There are certain core subjects (math, science, history, English, a foreign language) that we are required to take every year, and certain subjects called electives that we can choose to take. Our electives can be fun like cooking or learning about cars, or they can be more intense and focused on preparing us for university (such as another history or math class). We tend to have different levels for the core subjects. Students in the higher levels plan to attend university, while students in the lower levels plan on entering the work force directly after high school.

Thanks for the well wish! They are always useful.

I think that the more you write and read in English, the better you will get at it. No worries:D
