  • May God be, shall we say, more OBSERVABLY gracious to you in 2010. From writing this post, I'm going to go see if anything is new on the "Skids" thread.
It's great to see you back, even if only briefly. If you ever can get those pictures developed, I'll be joyful to see the reminders of the visit we had.
Refer to previous VM? For MY part, the news is bad. Inescapable property expenses are stealing ALL my savings, not counting my IRA's.
There's a young lady long absent, who recently became active on-forum again. I have given her a sales pitch for Lions and Tigers.
I hope that something is going right someway. I think I will make a name change for the "Alipang" character who "is" you. Say, Tim Forrestal. Because no other TDL members have been depicted as their literal selves.
Excellent and thoughtful post in the Earth, Environmentalism thread (although perhaps a bit too political!). Well done :) I might join the discussion at some point in there...
Yeah, shock can make us less chatty. But you remain in my prayers, and I refuse to believe that these count for nothing.

Hi...I know I haven't talked to you before but I read your thread about "Timmy Luck" and I wanted to stop by.
First of all,I'm terribly sorry about your lion..I know that doesn't help in any way but I really am...
You see,I love animals with all my heart...I've always been close to them and they relate to me..animals that other people can't get near I could always hold or touch. And my best,in fact only, friend was my Yorkshire terrier.I had her since I was five, and two years ago,she got seriously ill with a disease her breed is prone to.My parents put her to sleep without consulting me.
See the reason I wanted to tell you this is after that,I questioned God.I hated people.I walked around in this fog for over a year. And nobody, not even my family understood because to them,it's just an animal. But to me,I didn't understand why God would make me unable to relate to people, but with a gift for animals and then cruelly tear my dog away.
The truth is,I still don't know why some people are made that way, unable to love people and bonded to animals.
But I think there must be some reason, some sense to it.
God doesn't play cruel jokes or torment people for no reason...so maybe animal lovers are put here to balance out other people...and after a long time I could see that it,as horrible as it is,it's better my dog died and left me than if I'd died and left her because she needed me even more than I needed her.
Again,I'm really sorry about your lion.I'll be praying for you,and if you ever want to rant,I'm here...and I understand what you're going through.
