    Geralyn lives in Florida now, so I have no chance to meet her, but I communicate long distance. If you remember former forum participant Sculpted Thought, real name Salem Barker, he is an an authority on holistic medicine; I'm trying to persuade Geralyn to give that option a try. What can she lose? My granddaughter Wood Nymph would like to meet Geralyn someday on Earth.

    Hoping for a good outcome can be exhausting. For Geralyn, allowing herself to hope _anything_ may prolong her life seems like a waste of time. I can't _command_ her what to do. But if Aslan _would_ heal her _and_ would provide her with the means to travel from Florida to California, I can guarantee she and I would be married within 48 hrs.

    Chief? Since I last messaged you, I've had cause to conclude that LifeMaiden passed away. Now I have a prayer request for someone else NOT to die. This is a woman about whom I've told EveningStar and Pholus the Centaur. Her name is Geralyn R0gers, and I've known her for most of my adult life. SHE NOW HAS ADVANCED LYMPHOMA. The prayer need is obvious enough.

    It's because, later, I learned that her jail time had been served WITHIN FORTY MILES of where I live. So I sought to find her, so as to tell her that I would have visited her in jail if I had known she was there.

    After another interval in which Hope (Wood Nymph) needed my close attention, I resumed looking for Michelle. I was able to look up her phone number. First wrote new texts to her, then tried a voice call...... only to be told Number Not In Service.

    Where is Michelle Wiedersatz? She was arrested for non-violent crimes. Her street in Nevada was Deer Trail. There couldn't be >two< Asian women with Germanic names in Nevada-- I tried to contact her by text, knowing she had paid her debt to society.

    LifeMaiden was supportive to me in early years on T.D.L. I want to encourage her in rebuilding her life. Does anyone here know her situation?

    Years ago, she had direct phone contact with me from Nevada, and professed to like me a lot. Sent me a picture proving she was Asian despite the Germanic surname.

    Why bless my old badger nose, you smell familiar! <g> As I have a few spare moments here and there (particularly there), I thought I'd drop in and participate a bit. As National Commissioner of Trail Life USA and one of its National Chaplaincy, I have many demands on my time. More to the point, old friends and old habits are among those demands. Like a bad penny or a good badger, I keep showing up. Well cheerio.

    I have what seems to be appalling news. I wondered what became of LifeMaiden, so I searched the web-- to find a woman IN NEVADA with her actual name, the right age to be LifeMaiden, and LOOKING like the one earlier photo I had seen of her. What I saw was that she had BEEN ARRESTED for some offense.

    I've bee wondering how come the books section of the forum (The Chronicle-The Books of Narnia) doesn't look the same as the other sections? Why do we only see one topic and one thread on the main page? It would be nice to see it in an expanded form with all the subsections or threads showing up on the main page. There would be more traffic and more posting in that section if we could all see all at a glance and not having to dig through much to see if anyone has posted replies and such. Thanks.

    Edit: Now that movie news are slow, it would be great to focus a little more on the books. Expanding that section would help a lot.
