Inspired by Jasmine Tarkheena's "Narnia Christmas Carol" thread, I thought it would be fun to do another Narnian retelling of a Christmas classic. This time, it's the Nutcracker. Most of you are probably more familiar with the story thanks to the ballet or the film adaptations that use it as inspiration. Basically the rules are the same here as with the Narnia Christmas Carol thread.

Professor Kirke as Godfather Drosslemeyer.
Lucy and Edmund in the roles of Clara and Fritz Stahlbaum (Naturally).
Caspian as the Nutcracker Prince.
Ramandu's Daughter as the Sugar Plum Fairy.

But you know...we could use the Water Rat that appears briefly in the opening of the Last Battle that tips Tirian off to something being amiss in Narnia. Not sure why, something about that rat always felt shifty
 
The parliament of owls could do the Arabian Dance -- the long legato lines of the melody sounds like powerful wings leisurely slicing through the air...
