a few questions...

I don't think that Aslan eats the white witch, and if he does, then that's just nasty, that's a discrase to Aslan. My theory is that it's goingm in slow motion so it looks like he is. I know, not a very good one is it.

The white witch never comes back. But she almost does in PC though. (read the book.)

I think Peter looks at the soilders becouse they are so young.
 
I think peter might be looking at the solider at the start of the film because the solider looks about Peters age so maybe he was thinking that he would have to go to war soon.
 
The guy who played the soldier was actually up for the role of Peter. It was between him and William and William won out. So in a way, both were looking at each other in universe as where they could have ended up (at war or separated from family due to being evacuated from London) while in real life, the actor playing the soldier was looking at William as the guy who beat him out and William was looking at him as the lucky actor who got the role.

As for Aslan eating Jadis, in TSC Aslan tells Jill, "I have swallowed up girls and boys, women and men, kings and emperors, cities and realms." He swallowed her up.
