"Hey! You never know!" Edmund exclaimed continueing down the tunnel though suddenly he grapsed the wooden bars of the ladder tightly in his hands, the earth began to shake and for the first time he heard Lucy scream. "Lucy! what are you doing! your not sopposed to be here!"
She hesitated for a moment before anshering. "I...I wanted to come on the adventure!" she finally exclaimed, clutching the bars of the ladder tightly.

Loretta spun around. "LUCY!" she sighed. "Just hold on tight..." Loretta warned as she started down the staircase.

Lucy nodded, she held onto the bars the best she could but the earth shook violelntly, she struggled hard to hold on her fingers slipped and she fell down the tunnel. Edmund gasped, his face lighting up with horror when he heard his sisters constant screaming slowly begin to grow fainter as she fell down the tunnel.

Loretta saw a weak rope...long, but weak. "Edmund, grab this..." Loretta wasted no time tossing the rope to Ed, and holding on herself, diving down to catch Lucy.

Without hesitation Edmund grabbed the rope, clutching it tightly in his hands though he almost fell from the shaking of the earth. "Make sure to be careful!" he called down to her.
Lucy continued screaming, she had never felt so scared in her life, just the feeling of falling made her feel as if she were going to die.

Loretta flew downward. She saw Lucy...she dove faster, slowly catching up, she just barely grabbed the hem of Lucy's skirt. "Lucy, flip up and grab my hand!" Loretta shouted.

Lucy did as she was told without hesitation, she grabed Lorettas hand quickly, the rope snapped just as they reached the bottem.
Edmund's face lit up with fear, "LUCY!! LORETTA!!" he screamed down, atfirat reseaveing no reply.

"Well, no broken bones..." Loretta whispered, rolling her eyes. She took Lucy's hand. "ED! WE'RE OKAY!"

Lucy smiled up at Loretta, they had landed on something soft. "Hey...whats this?" she brushed away some of the dust and noticed they hand landed on a huge cloth of some sort. "ED COME ON DOWN!!" she shouted up to him, her hand in Lorettas. Edmund gulped, he clutched the rope tightly in his hands. "ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THIS!?" he called down, nervouse, one hand still clasp to the bar of the ladder.

Edmund closed his eyes and finally took the leap off, he screamed almost all the way down but was surrpized to find he ended up landing on the same soft cloth that Loretta and Lucy had landed on.
"Whats this..?" he asked, looking around, their was a bright light shineing up ahead.

"Hey wait a minute... your the one with the sword..why don't you go in front?" Lucy gave him a look.
Edmund hesitated for a moment. "Er..Be-Becuase..I...need to cover for her!" he lied, glancing behind as if he were making sure the cost was clear. "See..I'm the eyes in the back of Lorettas head!"
Lucy rolled her eyes though before she could respond some sort of clicking niose was heard from behind the light..it sounded as if it were some sort of animal...

Edmund gulped, he pulled Lucy close and stayed behind Loretta, "What could it be?" he qiuestioned though his ansher soon came enough when suddenly a small grey sqiurrel came darting out from the green light, somehow he appeared diffrent from all of the other sqiurrles, unlike them his snout was long and skinny and a few criket teeth were sticking out, his body slightly on the stout side and his tail big and bushy. he saw the group and let out an ear pearcing screech of horror, then turned and darted the same way he had came.

Loretta snarled and leapt after him. She wasn't about to let him get away. She got the grey squirrel pinned, since red squrrels were larger, it was easy. She stared straight into his eyes. "Who are you." she ordered.

The sqiurrel opened his mouth only to let out another ear-pearing cry, he struggled to escape but it was no use, she had him pinned. His face potrayed a mix of fear and panic. He looked into Lorettas eyes and his expression fell blank for a moment. "Sc-Scrat now, Please, don't eat me!!" He finally sqeeled out, his voice small and sqeaky as if it belonged not to a sqiurrel but a mouse.
Lucy finally gave into the curisoity knawing away at her heart, and walked away from her brother, over to the two sqiurrels, she wanted a better view. "Woah...he's diffrent then any of the sqiurrels I've seen.."
"Yeah..uglier you mean.." Edmund remakred only to reseav and angry glare from Scrat.

ooc: haha, yes thats right, I thought it would be fun to bring Scrat in :p

Loretta glared at Edmund. She glanced back at Scrat. "I am, in no mood for eating a fellow squirrel, but I want to know why you were down here and what your purposes are..." she demanded, she wasn't taking any chances.
