"I know...I promise not to let you go to sleep Lori...I'll do everything I can.." he said, trying his best to keep his promise and keep her awake, he would never forgive if he let her fall alseep...never to wake up.


Susan breathed in, letting out a tince sigh, a few tears spilled down her cheek, wetting Bronos hand. "Okay.." she wanted to take his hand, to have him hold her, but she new this wasn't the apritpate time. "I just hope we can do that..." she glanced towards Loretta, seeing her yawn.


Lucy gave a soft wimper, trying to keep from bursting into tears. She held him close to her, just feeling his warm form agiast hers seemed to bring her hope to hang on, never giving up on Loretta.

Loretta looked up wearily. She smiled weakly.

Brono breathed. He focused, talking to Loretta in her mind, telling her to stay awake, helping the effect of staying awake easier.

Tony hugged Lucy. "we can." he said gently holding her, letting her cry.

Edmund returned her smile, he began talking to her of many diffrent, sometimes even random, subjects to help keep her awake. "Remember that time when Aslan protected us from getting struck by lighting..?" his voice trailed off as he told her the whole story of how the lion had lept in front of them, reseaveing the blow of the lighting so they wouldn't be harmed.


Susan rocked Poof gently in her arms, reassuring him that everything was going to be alright, just looking at him she could tell he was afraid, and didn't understand what was happening.

Lucy sobbed into his shoulders, her body began to shake though suddenly she screamed just as a huge boom of thunder ecoed through the land, followed by flashes of lighting.

Edmund could have sworn his heart had almost skipped a beat when he seen her eyes begin to close but he let out a sigh of relief when his sisters scream amoken her again, he held her close and continued talking to her to keep her awake. "Come on Loretta just a few more minutes..." the thunder roared once again and a few rain drops began to fall.

Lucy whimpered, she looked up at the sky, it had become almost pitch black outside. "Bu-But why is it so dark?" she new something was wrong, for it was barly passed 3 in the afternoon and the sky had done almost completely dark.

Susan let out a smile of relief, she helf Poof close to her though qiute suddenly lighting lit up the sky cuaseing many of the younger children to scream. "We should get back inside.." she said, turning to Brono.

Susan managed a weak smile. "Yes Dear..." she whispered softly, she glanced at Brono giving him a greatful look for his comfort. She took Poof in her arms gently. "We should have some food down here if anyones hungery.." she offered to them all.
