A Question For The Mods!!!!!!!!

Hiya Moderator peoples(and anyone else)!

I have a question: how do you BECOME a mod? Do you have to be a senior member for, like, 3 trillion yrs or something?
 
There's a mod Q&A thread on here in the Land of Duffers. Specter has to make someone a mod by determining how they act towards other members. My POV only.
 
Nah, nah at all!! John was barely a sneior member and he was Knighted. You just have to be nice, follow rules, and be cool.
 
I think you also have to act with maturity. Only Specter can make a member or senior member a mod. I remember when PrinceoftheWest was made a mod. Mainly, they're those who patrol the forum who have a lot of knowledge and who help others.

If you do, can't say I didn't warn you. It's in the Spam Rules. So yeah, it's just bugging him, and against the rules if you ask him.
 
If you don't ask to be a mod, but ask how the others became mods, I don't think that's against the rules. Unless I'm wrong. If so, someone please correct me.
 
Proto and I agreed that Mod-Wannabe's are un-popular...aka me...yeah, he's popular, and I doubt he'll ever be a Mod, seeing the way he acts, here and in person.

Speaking of Proto, where in the world is he? I know his comp died, but, Geez...He's been gone for like a month!

I found the Rules. Here's something on modship:

Don't ask to be a mod, recommendations are welcome. The mods were chosen specifically by Specter, the administrator of this site. Occasionally more mods are recruited, other than that...leave it be.

...uh...lol are you joking or do you want me to really answer? (not saying in a mean way :D ok?) the delete threads or posts..or can lock them..some other things I can't remember lol..also I think they can edit your posts?

Freak Sisters, a mod is a person who has their name highlighted in one of three colors: green (administrators only) red (squires, or sort of mods-in training) blue (the color that makes up most mods names) and then purple (only EveningStar and tgraveline have this, but they're still mods)
 
Actually, the reason Eveningstar and TG's signatures are in purple is because they're in quarantine, but this hasn't been mentioned outside the Mod Lounge.
