if we each knew where the other lived we could donate and get a large sum of money and buy a plot of land. it could have it a stone walk-way leading to a statue of C.S lewis in the middle of a flower garden, with a plaque enscribed something-something by the people of narniafans.com
It's a dream of mine to visit the places he also frequented, and pay tribute to him there, with a simple raising of my drink, to a fantastically gifted Christian writer and poet, whose magical stories have and will always be read for generations to come.
I quite agree with LifeMaiden. Our greatest tribute would be to not only continue to read and study his works but to make sure that we pass on these wonderful stories to our children and our grandchildren. I know that is what I am going to do. I have two young granddaughters 8,10 both of whom are going to receive a full set of "The Chronicles of Narnia" for Christmas this year.
Although I admit, to visit Great Britain would be a great idea. Too bad it takes money. lol My family is from Wales and I have never been their either.
