I was wondering how old the kids are supposed to be at the beginning of the movie and at the end.Not the actors, the characters.I'm curious how long they reigned in Narnia. Does it ever say and I missed it?

Well Peter and Susan are a year apart in the book and then Susan is two years form Edmund and Lucy is two year younger than Edmund. The partern is two one two Now I know Edmund was 11 and Lucy 9 Susan and Peter I don't know. That is all I can help you with in London. Now In Narnia is a didffrent story, They rieghed for 15 years. 1000 to 1015. :D

Thanks! that answers my questions!:D

if you ask me they will have to get new actors eventually if they are going to make all 7 movies. there not coming out with #2 till mid '08! they came out with #1 (on DVD) in dec '05! i know that its a long process but come on!!!!

at this rate by the time they come out with the last of the series, georgie (lucy) will be like 33 years old! it'll take a LOT of make up to make her look 17! so they'd best hurry up!

maybe they'll make The Last Battle next cuz it's the last one with all four pevensies even though i think susan is only mentioned in the story and not part of the battle.

The book clearly states that Edmund is only 1 year older than Lucy. In PC Lucy is going to boarding school for the first time making her 11 there and 10 in LWW. I'm not sure of the other's ages in LWW but I would guess the following.

Lucy 10
Edmund 11
Susan 13
Peter 14

This is different from those indicated in the timeline, but there are too many inconsistancies with the books to consider that authoritative.

You were close in the ages you posted earlier, but Peter was only 13 in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Then Susan was 12, Edmund 10, and Lucy 8. Their reign did last about 15 years. When the Pevensies went back in Prince Caspian, Peter was 14, Susan 13, Edmund 11, and Lucy 9. Jill and Eustace were both a year younger than Lucy so when they all died (which I find even sadder because Susan loses everyone that she has ever loved in one day) Peter was 21, Edmund was 18, Lucy 17, and Jill and Eustace were only 16. They were all so young when they died. It is sad, but at least they all made it to Aslan's country except Susan of course.:) :(

Where are you getting the ages of them in TLB? Looking at my favorite Queen, Lucy was 9 or 10 in LWW. PC was one year later. VotDT was a year after that.

From what I read, TSC was only a few months later. Jill and Eustace were only 2 weeks into their autumn term and he had changed from last time he was there. The only reason for him to change was his experiences in Narnia.

TLB took place more than a year later, as Eustace told Tirian. He would have said 2 years had it been that long. It apparently had only been around 18-20 months at most since they last went.

Doing the math, Lucy would only have been 12-14 years old in TSC, not 17.

I got my stats from a resource book for Narnia. I find it quite accurate. The Air Raids in London where dated in the year 1940. Lucy was then around eight years old. In TLB it was the year 1949 when the train crashed, according to that it would make Lucy 17 when she died. According to the time line TVotDT and TSC where both in the same year and that was 1942. This would have made Lucy 10 during TSC. My source is the book Roar; A Christian Family Guide to The Chronicles of Narnia. :)

I agree!! But later in answer to a letter that someone sent, C.S.Lewis told them that there was always a chance for Susan to have a change of heart, and I think that he made allowances for that when he wrote, "Once a king or queen of Narnia, always a king or queen of Narnia." It is pretty sad because Susan loses her whole family in one day, not to mention her friends too.:)
