I don't know many country singers either... but then again no offence to any fans, but it's mainly becuase I hate most country music...lol. But I think it'll be funny to see Sanjaya sing country..I mean can you honesty picture him and country? Rotfl...:p I can't wait until tomorrow! I have to be honest, again I've grown to really like Sanjaya...Idk why exactly theirs just something about him.. please don't form an angery mob or anything cause I'm still not voting for him.. (I have a friend who would kill me if I was...I've already done it once and she threatened to throw me out teh window.. *hides from the pitchforks* ) no, I'm voting for Chris ritchardson and I was voting for Gina..but then she got kicked off!! :(

Well, Lakisha sang one of my favorite Carrie Underwood songs (Jesus, Take the Wheel) but I think she was hearing the song differently than how it was being played....she didn't necessarily stay on key, but it was good.

Melinda....wow! I don't remember what she sang, but it was awesome! Simon was blown away by it.

Chris-I think he sung one of my favorite Rascal Flatts song, Mayberry, and he so butchered it.

Blake-some Tim McGraw song...horrible at staying on key, totally butchered it.

Phil-eh, it was so-so.

Sanjaya-

Jordin-fantastic job, even though I only saw a clip of her performance since I missed her perform.

that's my opinion of tonight.

Lakisha - horrible
Sanjaya - HORRIBLE
Chris - horrible
Phil - okay
Melinda - wow
Jordin - OMIGOSH!
Blake - heh heh I love him =] but he did do pretty good... i love his voice...

ha, ive started a trend
as always, the * indicates who we voted for

TOP 7
Theme-Country
Mentor-Martina McBride

01-Phil Stacey("Where the Blacktop Ends)-good song choice, he should definately go into country

*02-Jordin Sparks("Broken Wing")-yay!!

03-Sanjaya Malakar("Somethin' to Talk About)-i think he stuck his fingers in a socket, got a bandana, and went onstage. WOW, what about those lyrics huh? I bet he had a hard time learning THOSE. FLAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

04-LaKisha Jones("Jesus Take the Wheel)-pitchy, but I love that she shares her faith with America

05-Chris Richardson("Mayberry")-pitchy and nasaly. he always has this head thing going on like he's rapping or dancing like a boy band member

*06-Melinda Doolittle("Trouble is a Woman")-first off, i LOVE women-power songs, and i heard this song for the first time last night and WOW! YAY MELINDA! Simon can't get it in his head that he is MODEST and HONESTLY AMAZED that she gets good compliments. Modesty Simon, look it up. It's one thing in life you don't have.

07-Blake Lewis("When the Stars Go Blue")-alright, a little pitchy

I thought Phil was going to go next, but Phil did well, so my gues for tonight is Chris Richardson

all the guys butchered their songs...I'm sorry, but they did. the only one who did somewhat well was Phil....and I hate that song that he sang. Lakisha was somewhat pitchy, but I think she was hearing differently than what was playing.

I loved Melinda's song choice.....:D
