Bessie bumped, squeaked and bounced her way back over the muddy field ruts onto the road, everyone swaying around and hanging on as best they were able.
"We look like one of those circus clown-cars," Three grumbled, steering with the only arm he could freely move. He looked down at Jo who was crammed sideways against him, half across his chest. "I suppose I should just be grateful you're someone I know," he smiled.
--
"No no no no no!" Two called to the pilot. "You've set it down sideways! Dear oh dear, do you need me to take the controls? That's my TARDIS down there! Well, not my TARDIS per se, but still mine."
The helicopter bobbed back up, yanking the unfortunate blue box back upright as the pilot muttered various things they couldn't hear.
The cables finally released, the helicopter finally came to rest in the lot, its huge blades humming as they began to spin to a stop. The various passengers were tumbling out the side-door, just grateful to be back on the ground.
