"SHH!" Ororo hissed.

Rogue watched intently as Senetor Kelly bashed the mutants. She smiled though when he mentioned about Kitty, well not her name, just the fact that a girl could go through walls.
 
Kurt was suspended from the chandelier, his legs and tail wrapped around them so that he could hang comfortably. This, at least, allowed him a good view of the television. "Come on guys, can't we all just get a long?" he asked, looking down at all of them.

Jean sighed and look around at the group. "Hold on guys, there's something else," she said, holding up a hand as she watched the TV.
 
"Come on Sage, cheer up," Jean said, offering a smile to the girl. "In times like these..." she glanced at the TV. "We really all need to get along," she continued with a smile
 
Just like Jean to make peace, Rogue thought with a smile.

Sage smiled up at Jean and gave Logan an apologetic grin.
 
"Good Morning Mon Ame" Gambit said half awake

"Would anyone care for a game of cards" he said completely oblivious to the TV "I promise to maybe let you win this time"

Kurt popped down and landed in front of the three women. "So, now that this program is over, who's up for a little fun?" he asked, his mind wandering to football, tag, and other sorts of games.

Jean heard where Kurt's mind was wandering to and put up her hand to cover her mouth. She quickly shut him out, otherwise she knew that she would laugh in his face.

Rogue rolled her eyes as she sat next to Remy. She loved how care free he was. They could be blasting mutants on the TV and he's still ask her to play cards. But of course he might bet on which mutant would live rather than money.

"Five card draw, Jokers and Duces wild," she said as she as she took the cards from him, "Ah deal. Yer a regular cheet." She said with a pert smile.

"It's kinda cold Kurt, would you like it warmer?" Ororo asked knowing he wanted to be outside.
 
Carmen rolled her eyes " Sure sure if you say so," she told him, watch the tv with her hands under her chin " But I bet you win because you chet all the time," she told him, truning around to face him.
 
Gambit proceeded to deal the cards to the two women sitting in front of him.

"Ok, I will go first, if zat iz alright with you ladies!" he said slyly

They looked at each other and shrugged, it wasn't like who went first ever really mattered around Gambit, since he always won. Even if you cheat, he would cheat more.

"Ok, ah'll go first. Ah have four beautiful ladies right here" he said laying down four queens.

Rogue and Carmen both rolled their eyes
 
Kurt shrugged. "That is what my fur is for! I'm not the blue fuzzy dude for nothing!" he said, grinning at Ororo. "And everyone else can always put on coats!" he said, as always optimistic.
 
"REMY! AH know yer a cheetin!" She yelled as she grabbed all the cards, "Ah.
'm dealin this time and there aint nothin you gonna say!"
 
Carmen got up " Ahh, you no fun I wanted to play to!," she told her, walking over to Bobby " UGH," she said, with a sigh " Robert why am I here any way?," she asked, looking at everyone.


OOC: I'll be Bobby for now :]

ic: " because I said so," he told her, taking her hand " Now go play with the others," he told her " Cousins can be a pain," he said to Rogue

Logan looked at Kurt. "I'm going outside if you want to join me elf." He looked at Sage. "And you did not kick my butt in training. Chuck called me. I had to leave."
He grinned and looked at Gambit. "Bub, remind me to teach you how to cheat sometime."
